The Greatest Song Ever!
Two Cents - Your Two Cents!
We are changing our tune (no pun intended!) a bit today because we know that sometimes it is just a little hard on the ol' brain cells to constantly solve the world's problems!

So we are taking a trip to the lighter side of life today to find out what you think ranks as the best song ever. Whether it is one that makes you nostalgic, one that makes you sing out loud or one that you simply can't sit still for, tell us what it is.

We think it will be fun to see if  "your song" belongs to others as well!

Question: What is your favorite song of all time?

Easily the greatest song Lennon ever wrote; nostalgic, beautiful, and a highly sentimental tune from a man known ironically, for his sarcasm and blunt humor.

just an old retired radio network correspondent.
written by Don Blair, May 10, 2010
My first ten of my now 56 years in broadcasting I was plying my trade at the turntables. Then and now I still feel that THE WAY YOU LOOK TONIGHT....music by Jerome Kern and those fabulous, ultra romantic lyrics by Dorothy Fields makes this my all-time favorite. Give it a listen....if it doesn't get to you, check the obituaries...you might be in there. Oh yes...when Irving Berlin first wrote God Bless America he put it away in his piano bench...not good enough until Kate Smith dropped by one day...saw it, sang it and the rest, as they say, is delightful history. I did a one-hour special on Berlin a few decades ago on the NBC Radio Network. That was part of the story.

Sex Bomb
written by W. Shatter, May 11, 2010
I think Rolling Stone honored Flipper's "Sex Bomb" as one of the best, and if you aren't mouthing the single lyric by the end of any play, you may be comatose. And when I drive from suburbia to downtown to do my shopping, I often find myself humming "Ha Ha Ha"
