I would go with Piper Palin.At the convention they showed her holding the baby and trying to smooth down his hair by spiting in her hand and rubbing his head.To me this shows a very close knit family with everyone helping to take care of him.

I agree that this is a silly poll and would never pick one over the other. I thought both little girls had their own cute way of expressing themselves on national TV. My vote is split!

You have GOT to be kidding me! This is the kind of question I would expect to hear on a Jerry Springer-type show - far beneath the Daily Cents! Until now, I've enjoyed reading the opinions expressed, even (maybe especially) the ones I disagree with. But this question has absolutely NO redeeming value. Indeed, it plays to the lowest kind of thinking, putting those who think about it into a frame of mind that evaluates little girls on their "cuteness." Potentially damaging to ALL of the precious little girls readers influence.

I think they are both cute but, while Sasha's actions appear rehearsed. Piper’s appears unassuming and spontaneously loving.

In my opinion, both girls are cute. This type of question is what brings on perversion. So readers you see who is to blame for the sexual abuse on young children by perverts. There is no need to bring the children into the mix like this. Who really cares which one is cuter? They are both very cute kids, with their own unique attributes, none is cuter than the other.

This is like the Olympics all over again. The equally cute little girl who had the voice was not shown and the other girl who was lipsyncing was showcased. How must that little girl have felt when she wasn't allowed to get the accolades she deserved and was hidden from view? All little girls are beautiful in their own right.

Give me a break! Who's running for office again? These cuties or their parents? Of course, they both are very cute little girls - and the operative word here is "little." This is the kind of question that trivalizes the election, as far as I'm concerned.

Your question made me feel uncomfortable. Is it because they are girls that you asked if they are cute? Would you ask the same of sons? Why isn't the question who is smarter? Moreover, why ask who has better kids? This seems to be taking politics to another (not so good) level. Look what the media did to Chelsea Clinton.

For something that is allegedly so "trivial," it sure garnered a major number of responses.

I really enjoy Daily Cents and I know this question was meant to be lighthearted. I agree it was taken out of context but I definitely understand the feelings of the majority of the people that answered.

Please don't do this again, I found it disturbing and I think you're heading into dangerous waters with questions that pit little girls and girls in general against each other. There are too many issues with this to try to make a joke out of it.

The glaring question not being asked, is not which of the girls is the cutest, because they are both darling, but what about Obama's pro abortion policies, which in many cases deem the life of a little Trig Palin and other down syndrom children not valuable. If one supports abortion, they are saying that the human life they are taking is not valuable. Period. Is Obama saying by his support of abortion, that if you are not wanted by your parents, then your life is not valuable? Unfortunately groups that now support Obama, such as Planned parenthood were started years ago with the ideals of Margaret Sanger who believed that the poor and people of color should be limited in having children. In effect, they were racist in their beginnings, and if one looks at abortion statistics, I believe it is people of color who are affected by the highest number of abortions. Who is it that cares for those children, and don't those children of color matter?

If the girls were to reverse their roles, parents and surroundings, Sasha Obama would be wearing a heavy coat and cute pink hat in an outdoor picture (anyone see the snow in the background?), not a pretty purple short sleeve dress. Piper Palin would be wearing a pretty purple dress while onstage indoors (see the background in Sasha's picture?)and not her heavy coat and hat.

Leave the children out of this pettiness. Put each in context of their pictures and environment and address real issues.
