Two Cents - Your Two Cents!
Europe is beginning to emerge from a volcanic cloud, allowing limited air traffic to resume and giving hope to millions of travelers stranded around the world when ash choked the jet age to a halt. However, the eruption from the Icelandic volcano that caused the six days of aviation chaos was said to be strengthening and sending more ash toward Britain, which could make it unlikely that London airports would reopen Tuesday.

Question: Do you think the aviation industry is being overly cautious with their concerns about the volcanic ash or are they taking necessary precautions?

The aviation industry needs to be lauded and praised for putting people and safety before profit. So you got stranded for a few days...boo hoo!

No, they are being safe. Just think of how many people could possibly be killed and how many lawsuits the would face trying to make a quit buck. No, they are being safe and smart. Safe passengers today means, no lawsuit and future travelers tommorrow.
