Are you one of those people who is almost paralyzed at the end of your busy day with the thought of what to make for dinner? Our days at Daily Cents usually end with casual goodbyes and inquiries about what gourmet's delight will appear on the dinner table that night (we use the term "gourmet's delight" loosely around here - hot dogs, pizza, fish sticks, etc...). Now, we have no more excuses. We just tried out the NuWave Oven, a nifty counter-top contraption that cooks anything from chicken to steaks to pizzas. And ever the skeptics, we were all referring back to the George Foreman Grills we had all owned at one point, used two times and then sent them unceremoniously to the back of our cupboards. Well, imagine our surprise when the NuWave Oven worked to perfection and turned out a perfectly roasted chicken.

As soon as our mouths weren't full anymore, it was unanimous that the NuWave had knocked our collective socks off. And not only did it make a great meal , but it was fast and efficient and healthy - it cooks up to 50% faster than conventional ovens, uses 85% less energy and removes 250% more fat droppings. Our chicken was not frozen, but the directions say that you can put either frozen or thawed meat in it to cook, thus alleviating the panic you feel when you realize you forgot to set something out to thaw.

When we ordered our NuWave, there were several bonus products that came with it - all of which were great (pizza flipper, twister blenders, DVD, recipe cards). But even without the extras, the three payments of $39.99 (plus shipping/handlling) seemed like a bargain to us. The Daily Cents community NuWave is now on a weekly check-out system and several of us have bought our own.
